BlueRock is a teen residential treatment program (Level II, NC Medicaid) in Hendersonville / Western North Carolina serving youth ages 12-17. We pair relationship-centered therapy with an accredited on-campus school, providing 24/7 structure, predictable routines, and coordinated academic support so teens can stabilize, build skills, and reconnect with family.
In North Carolina, "Level II Residential Care" is a 24-hour program for youth to address behavioral or mental health needs. Unlike other Level II programs, BlueRock provides this care on a beautiful 140-acre campus with separate buildings for dorms, schooling, clinical programming, dining, and recreation.
We have licensed clinicians, NC Licensed teacher-led academics, and experiential programming all on-site. Daily routines emphasize skill-building (emotion regulation, communication, decision-making), healthy habits, and guided practice in real-world settings.
We support teens experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related stress, self-harm/suicidal ideation, ADHD, behavioral challenges, family conflict, learning differences, and related concerns. Many students have co-occurring needs (e.g., grief, substance use experimentation, executive-function gaps), and our program is designed to address the whole person.
Yes. Students learn through our accredited on-campus school with in-person teachers, small classes, and study hall. We coordinate credit transfer with home districts and support IEP/504 accommodations so academic progress continues during treatment.
Families are part of the team through weekly family therapy, parent coaching, frequent updates, and treatment-team meetings. From admission onward, we plan for the transition home, aligning expectations and building skills that stick.
Safety is built into the model: trained staff on site 24/7, consistent expectations, medication and wellness oversight, structured days, and a home-like environment that balances accountability with compassion and belonging.
We verify NC Medicaid (Standard & Tailored Plans) and commercial insurance at no cost. Our team handles eligibility checks and provides a plain-English benefits summary so you know what coverage may look like.
Call admissions 24/7 for a brief screen. We’ll gather history, verify benefits, complete a clinical review, and, if it’s a fit, set an admission date with a packing list, orientation, and travel details.
